Welcome to the Swillburg Neighborhood! We are a small, vibrant, close-knit community of city neighbors who enjoy all that Rochester, NY has to offer.

Swillburg residents take pride in our historic homes, community gardens, and neighborhood events. We love our local businesses and take advantage of our proximity to Rochester’s numerous cultural & natural resources.

5.13 – United Way Day of Caring Call for Volunteers

We will be outfitting our School 35 garden planters with new soil and giving the area some maintenance.
Location: School 35, corner of Field, Pinnacle and Laburnum
Times: 10am-3pm (lunch will be provided)

Tools/Equipment Needed: wheelbarrows, shovels, garden rakes, weeding tools. If you don’t have any of that just bring yourselves!


The Swillburg Neighborhood is hosting a mini clean sweep to clean and prep our beautiful Bloom Garden and murals on Pembroke St. We will be raking, cleaning up trash, and prepping the flower beds for June’s flowers.

We are also holding a pop-up shop Saturday April 10th in the front yard of Swillbarber, 22 Henrietta Street 11AM-3PM! Stop by and say hi!

Swillburg Virtual Fall Harvest 11/05/20

Mark your calendars for our 6th annual Swillburg Harvest Fest on Thursday, November 5th from 7:00 p.m.-8:15 p.m. in the comfort of your own home via ZOOM! Never used ZOOM before? It’s easy. Click the register link below, then you will be provided with a link to use on the day of the event!
